Peer support & education groups

All our groups are facilitated by a lived-experience professional. We are currently accepting registration of interest to participate.

Groups will run in parallel to Victorian school terms, and accessible online using private or NDIS funds.

  • A new diagnosis support & education group - facilitated by a disabled psychologist. The semi-structured group will focus on helping you adjust to a new identity or diagnosis of disability. Each session will include time for unstructured conversation and support, as well as education and skill building.

  • Self advocacy group - facilitated by a disabled psychologist. The semi-structured group will focus on learning self advocacy skills and building community. Each session will include time for unstructured conversation and support, as well as education and skill building.

  • Disability writing group - facilitated by a disabled writer. The semi-structured group will focus on community and skill building. Share your writing, learn to provide and receive feedback and meet fellow disabled writers.
