Disability & Mental Health in Emergency Preparedness

An introductory presentation about the intersection between disability and mental health, and how to consider this when preparing for emergencies.

This video was originally presented as a part of the International Webinar on Accessible Preparedness for Emergency, in March 2024.

The Kultivate team acknowledges working and living on unceded Aboriginal land. We mainly work on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Boonwurrung people of the Kulin nation, and support people from across the land. We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders – past, present and emerging, across the countries we work and live on. We thank Aboriginal people for their ongoing care for country and community, for welcoming us, and for sharing their knowledge about social and emotional wellbeing. We are committed to ongoing learning and working towards reconciliation and justice.
